エステルオカダアートギャラリーでは、2022 年 6月 4日（土）から 6 月 18 日（土）まで王露（Wang Lu）、呉揚（Wu Yang）、林煜涵（Lin Yuhan）の３名によるグループ展を開催いたします。
中国出身の3名は、東京藝術大学大学院にて学び、写真という表現方法を主に用いつつ、各々異なるテーマで制作活動を行ってきました。グループ展という形で一つの空間にて共に作品を展示するのは今回が初めてとなります。「Between In and Out」というタイトルの本展は、写真を主軸としたインスタレーション形式の展示です。是非ご来廊ください。
Between In and Out
グローバル化が進んだ我々の社会では、突発的な出来事が起きると情報が錯綜し、その出来事が不透明になることがあります。この不透明さは情報化社会の特徴です。ここでは、氾濫する情報が個人の記憶と混ざり合い、個人に影響を与えます。そのプロセスはまるで、IN（内）とOUT（外）との間を浮遊しているかのような感覚をもたらします。写真の画面にも、はっきりとした部分とぼやけた部分が存在し、このIN（内）とOUT（外）との間を浮遊するかのような状態に影響されながら制作活動を行っています。今回の展示では、それぞれ独自の視点を持つ三人の作家が一つのスペースにおいて、この浮遊状態を表現しようと試みます。

Esther Okada Art Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition by Wang Lu, Wu Yang, and Lin Yuhan from June 4 to June 18, 2022. It is their first attempt to exhibit together in a group show. The show is titled “Between In and Out” and it consists of photography and installation.
Between In and Out
When a sudden event occurs in our highly globalized world, sometimes it feels like the overflow of information blurs the event. This kind of opaqueness is one of the characteristics in our information society. The overflow of information influences each individual only when it merges with the individual’s own memories. This process makes us feel as if we are drifting between our in(side) and out(side). When looking at photographs, there are often clear parts and blurred parts and it reminds of the status of being adrift between in and out. In this group exhibition, the
artists attempt to show this particular status from 3 different perspectives.
